Military vehicles for infantry soldiers of the US Army arrived in Tapa station in Estonia. Interfax reported that with reference to the press service of the 1st Infantry Brigade of the Defense Forces of Estonia.
Military personnel of the infantry company of the 1st Battalion of 69th Armored Cavalry Regiment (Charlie Company) arrived in Tapa, Estonia last week. This military unit has been stationed in the Alliance's eastern wing in Europe since the beginning of the year. The unit employs M1A1 Abrams tanks and M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
They will remain in Estonia until spring, when the UK-led NATO battalion combat team is expected to arrive.
As we reported, NATO forces are now stationed in Estonia, Lithuania and Poland according to the decisions taken at Warsaw summit in 2016.
