Yesterday at a closed experts meeting, one of the AP's top managers announced the details regarding the formation of the coalition and the new government. I do not call the source, I write it as it is. I will start with the bad news for the followers of “betrayal”-discourse. As of yesterday, the new coalition already exists, i.e. there are more than 226 votes already. The goal is to assemble a coalition of not less than 240-250 vote, and this is the reason of some delay with its legal announcement.
Officially, the new coalition under Volodymyr Groisman to be announced by April 12th. Renewal of the Cabinet will be total - no less than 80%. "People's Front" would significantly strengthen its representation. Arsen Avakov and Pavel Petrenko would definitely keep their positions, plus “People’s fromnt” should get another 4 ministries and Andriy Parubiy as a speaker. Similarly, Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky is not included into this list, and most likely, Natalia Yaresko too. The post of the first vice-premier and Minister of Economy would get Borys Lozhkin (90% guarantee). Candidates for the new head of the Presidential Administration have not been found yet. Perhaps it might be Dmytro Shymkiv if he does not go to the Cabinet.
The composition of the government has been presented to the American side, and it had no questions on the issue. Support will continue under the current U.S President Barack Obama and his successor. Early elections to the Verkhovna Rada because of a reboot will be delayed at least for a year, but they are really near.
This information is reliable, as the man who voiced it, is involved into the negotiation process. My information is confirmed by my sources in the Verkhovna Rada and the Government. This is plan "A," this is the aim of the negotiators between Bloc of Petro Poroshenko and People’s Front.
We also know about the negotiations concerning the introduction of several deputies to the People’s Front, mostly the majoritarian. It is known today that the applications for entry into Bloc of Petro Poroshenko sufficient to jointly form a coalition with the People’s Front. The task is at least 240, and maximum 250 votes.
Tymoshenko, as an experienced player who is in the same information flow, has really played ahead of the curve. Her statement is in fact the recognition that a new coalition has been created.
From my own source, including the Western, I know that the future Prime Minster Groisman refused to join Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, he wants to pursue an independent policy and wants to be personally liable.
Accordingly, few of the staff involved will be recommended by the political forces. Yaresko also would not be in the government, Milos would come in her place, it is a personal desire of Groisman.
There are several candidates for Attorney General, including Yuriy Lutsenko, Zhebrivskyi, Stolyarchuk. The problem is that they are not gaining 226 votes.
