The international reserves of Ukraine make up 17.8 billion of dollars as at august 1, 2017. The press service of the National Bank of Ukraine reported this.

The reserves increased in 15% in comparison with the beginning of 2017. The placement of inner public loan bonds influenced the change of the reserves. It enriched the state in 157.9 million of dollars. Moreover, the exchange market intervention of the National Bank at the interbank market increased the reserves in 29.8 million of dollars.

Also, the government paid out the extinguishment and service of the state debt in the sum of 579.4 billion of dollars.

'The volume of the international reserves absorbs 3.7 months of the future import and is enough for fulfillment of the commitments and current transactions of the Government and the National bank as at August 1, 2017', the message said.
