Ukraine works out the plans to provide Kazakh air companies with the An-148 and An-158 airliners. Gennadiy Zubkov, the Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Housing claimed this, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Government.

Particularly, the plan of events will be worked out. It provides the supply of the Kazakh air companies and interested structures with regional jet airliners An-148, An-158 and providing of the shipment of the super-heavy and oversized cargo.

‘The agreement to activate the cooperation between Ukrspecexport and Kazakh airplane industry was made. It aims to create the service center of maintenance of Antonov planes on the basis of the Air-technical center in Astana. We plan to finish the mutual approval of the Agreement project of the industrial cooperation in aircraft engineering between the Ukrainian Government and Kazakh Government and prepare it for signing’, Zubko said.

Besides the planes, Ukraine offered to Kazakhstan a new helicopter engine TVZ-117BMASBM1B and the possibility of the complete repairs of the engines D-36 and TVZ-117.
