National Bank received documents from Sberbank buyers to carry out deal

According to provided documents, investor Said Gutseriev, who appears to be the citizen of UK and Russian Federation, is about to purchase 77.5% of Sberbank shares

On April 10 the National Bank of Ukraine received documents from Sberbank buyers necessary for the deal. This was reported by Ukrainian News referring to the NBU’s press service.

National Bank received a pack of documents from the investor to agree upon the acquisition of substantial part in Sberbank.

According to provided documents, investor Said Gutseriev, who appears to be the citizen of UK and Russian Federation, is about to purchase 77.5% of Sberbank shares.

At the same time, as follows from the current pack of documents showing the schematic ownership structure for Sberbank if the investor acquires substantial part in the entity, the submission of documents is also expected from another investor — JSC Norvik Banka, which is going to acquire 22.5% of Sberbank shares.

The documents received from Gutseriev are registered and now undergoing review.
