The Ukrainian government held a meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund today, August 18. Among other issues, the price of natural gas was discussed, as 112.ua were told by the source in the government.

“The IMF doesn’t oppose to introducing changes into the order 187 as to the change of the period of calculating the gas prices. These changes don’t conflict with the conditions of the IMF loan,” the source informed.

Previously Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that the Ukrainian government doesn’t support increasing gas prices for citizens and heating companies during the next heating season.
