IFC gets loan in hryvnia for first time

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) got the loan in hryvnia for the first time ever. The press service of Raiffeisen Bank Aval that allowed a loan reported this.

‘The bank allocated the loan in the amount of 15.5 million of dollars for eight years. The IFC will steer money to finance the investment projects of the Ukrainian companies’, the message said.

Also, the bank reminded that the corporation used to support the Ukrainian companies only in foreign currency.

The International Finance Corporation is a member of the World Bank Group that is the biggest global establishment of the development and it focuses on the private sector of the developing countries. The volume of the IFC long-term investments reached 19 billion of dollars.
