‘In 3-4 years, we may become the country with high efficiency in the energy sector. That means more competitiveness, more powerful economy. The government and the governmental program of targeted social support is ready, and we will be able to protect everyone who needs protection from setting the market prices for gas’. Volodymyr Groysman, the Head of the Ukrainian government, said this during the briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

Earlier today, EU Vice President Maros Sefcovic met with Groysman and Parliamentary Speaker Andriy Parubiy in Kyiv. The sides discussed EU-Ukraine cooperation in the energy sector.
