The government initiates the raise of the minimal salary from 1,450 to 3,200 Ukrainian hryvnas – that is, from 55 to 125 U.S. dollars. Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, said this at the Cabinet session on Wednesday.

‘Since January 1, 2017, every employed Ukrainian will get the minimal salary of 3,200 hryvnas. That’s fair for both the government sector and private businesses,’ the Premier said.
