Budget-2017: 1.3 mln USD for protection of informational space of Ukraine

Another $7.7 mln to be spent on TV and radio programs for governmental needs and distribution of official informational products

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine offered to spend more than 9 million dollars on the activity of the Ministry of Information Policy in 2017, according to the exhibit to the state budget 2017 concerning allocation of costs, published on the website of the Parliament.

The draft budget 2017 provides allocation of 7.7 million USD for production and broadcasting of television and radio programs for governmental needs, as well as for collecting, processing and distributing official information products.

Another 1.3 million USD will be spent on protection of the national information space.

To compare, the Information Policy Ministry expenses were about 4 million USD in 2016.
