56 new plants were opened in Ukraine starting from 2015, another 24, - are being built. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on his Facebook page.

“Despite all the difficulties we have now, 56 new plants were opened in Ukraine starting from 2015, another 24, - are being built,” Groysman said.

"Due to the work of the government new businesses come to life and new ones are created. It means new working places, business development. And the growth of GDP, that increased by 4.7% in the fourth quarter serve as the evidence," the Prime Minister said.

Volodymyr Groysman noted that all this became possible because cooperation with the business ombudsman, creation of the investment support office, abolition of several hundreds of outdated and unnecessary regulations and a full translation to ProZorro procurement system.

"In 2017 we will further intensify our efforts so that more people could have good jobs and higher wages," he concluded.

Earlier Groysman explained what emergency measures in state energy system mean. "Me and my colleagues will pursue this matter 24 hours a day. I will do best I can to minimize any discomfort in any area of Ukraine," Prime Minister said.
