The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed the purchase of "Rosneft" shares by the Swiss company in Ukraine. It was reported by the press service of the department.
"Glusco Energy Sa (Geneva, Switzerland) has been authorized to purchase shares of Rosneft Management Company Limited (Nicosia, Cyprus), which provides excess of 50% of the votes in the supreme governing body of the company," the decision of the committee says.
Retail network of "Rosneft" in Ukraine owned by LLC "East" and has 141 objects in 12 regions of Ukraine, operating under Formula, TNK, "Golden cheetah", "Smile" brands.
"Rosneft" business in Ukraine also includes the operator of wholesale supply of oil products - "TNK-Industries Ukraine" and oil refinery "LINIK" (Lysychansk, Luhansk region.), which was stopped in early 2012.
According to "Interfax", Rosneft Management Company Ltd and Fargrade Ltd appear to be the owners of LLC "Vostok" (Kyiv), which has the ownership right on the Ukrainian gas station network of "Rosneft".
Lysychansk Refinery is the "youngest" of the Ukrainian oil refineries. Its total capacity is about 7 million tons of crude oil per year. The plant is able to produce fuel of Euro-4 standard, as well as the products of DT Euro-5 standard. The company was stopped in 2012 due to unprofitability.
