UA:Pershyi TV channel reported this on Friday. Ukraine’s Premier Volodymyr Groysman is to announce the official start of the qualification procedure at today’s Cabinet session.

The Eurovision 2017 organizers will choose one of several Ukraine’s cities and the venue to host the all-European song contest.

As is known, Jamala, Ukraine’s singer of Crimean Tatar origin, won Eurovision 2016 with her song 1944; the song is dedicated to the deportation of Crimean Tatar people from the peninsula during Stalin’s rule in the USSR.
