Sweden offers to help Ukraine organize Eurovision 2017

Swedish culture minister also offers to help reform Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture

The Sweden is offering to assit Ukraine in organizing Eurovision 2017, that’s according to Radio Liberty. Alice Bah Kunke, the Swedish Culture Minister, has met with her Ukrainian counterpart Yevhen Nyshchuk in Stockholm. She noted that Sweden is ready to send its experts not only to assist Ukraine in preparations for the next European song contest, but also to help the Ukrainian side reform its culture ministry. Ukraine’s singer of Crimean Tatar origin Jamala triumphed at the recent Eurovision song contest in Stockholm. According to the contest’s rules Ukraine will host next year’s event.
