Trilateral contact group working sessions have kicked off in Minsk already. They aim to settle the situation in the East of Ukraine, reports the press-service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
Working groups in political, humanitarian and security issues are at sessions at the moment.
The session of the Trilateral contact group itself will take place at 14:00.
As the reporter of 112 Ukraine TV channel reported earlier, the sides will be discussing issues of security and release of POWs, division of troops and armaments. De-militarization of Debaltseve, Komsomolsk, Kumachove and Sahanka could be the topic as well.
Besides, the Ukrainian side will once again demand the access for OSCE and humanitarian mission to the rebel-controlled areas of Donbas; the Russia-backed mercenaries have been preventing them from visiting these areas lately.
The Ukrainian delegation headed by Leonid Kuchma, former president of Ukraine, will arrive in Minsk in the afternoon.
The previous session of the trilateral group took place on February 1, when the security and humanitarian situations in Avdiivka turned grave due to the constant shelling in and around the town.
