Water filtration plant blackout due to shelling in Avdiivka

One of the two power lines was cut due to militants’ shelling in Avdiivka, Donetsk water filtration plant blacked out. This was reported by the Director General of the Avdiivka coke plant Musa Magomedov in Facebook.

“Something heavy came flying really close the plant. One of the two power lines was cut. Donetsk water filtration plant blacked out,” Magomedov reported.

The information about the shelling of the industrial zone was confirmed in Facebook by the Stop Terror coordinator Simon Kabakaev.

“Now the militants opened fire on industrial zone of Avdiivka. The terrorist use 120 mm and 152 mm shells. Shelling from grenade launchers and small arms goes on non-stop. Fierce firing began an hour ago, yet our soldiers do not respond. Fire is lead out of Makiiivka and Yasynuvata ,” he wrote.

In the end Ukrainian soldiers were forced to open fire on enemy positions.
