RQ-4A drone, the strategic UAV of the U.S. Air Force performed a long-lasting flight over the division line in eastern Ukraine. According to foreign websites tracking movement of military aircraft,  the device with call sign UAVGH000 hovered in the sky along the division line, which separates Ukraine-controlled areas from these occupied by pro-Kremlin militants.

‘The reconnaissance drone flied on the altitude of 16,700 meters. Due to its scanning range up to 300 km, the UAV could have monitored the entire territory of Donbas as well as the adjacent territories of Russia,’ Interfax news agency says.

The drones of this kind can stay in the sky for up to 30 hours, keeping at the altitude of 15-18,000 meters. UAVGH000 took off from Sigonella airfield in Sicily and entered Ukraine’s air space over Mykolaiv region (southern Ukraine). After completing the mission, the drone left Ukraine’s air space and headed to the north of Moldova, the media reported.
