The Ukrainian side of the Trilateral Contact Group urges to condemn the statement of the leader of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) about Malorossiya at the all levels. The speaker of the representative of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma Darka Olifer reported this at Facebook.

'The statement of the so-called Malorossiya does not respond the basis of the Minsk Agreements and it will not conduce the settlement of the Donbas Conflict. The attempt to separate Ukraine is not new and it failed in 2014. The representatives of the separate regions of Donetsk claim about the certain tracks that does not correspond with the taken responsibilities instead of talks about the reintegration that is the aim of the Minsk Talks', Olifer noted.

Also, it is reported that the Trilateral Contact Group urged to refrain from any confrontational statements that contradict the Minsk Agreements.

'We urge Russia in this context to discuss at all levels the unacceptable step of the DPR that is the total violation of the Minsk Agreements', the Ukrainian side claimed.

The leader of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko claimed about the creation of the new state Malorossiya.

According to him, ‘Donetsk will be the capital of Malorossiya and Kyiv remains as the historical and cultural center without the status of the capital city’. LNR will also join the pseudo-formation. The LPR militants denied participation in Malorossiya creation.

The Ukrainian Trilateral Contact Group will raise the issue of the claim of the leader of DPR Alexander Zakharchenko about the creation of the new state Malorossiya at the Minsk Talks.

The Appeal Court of Kyiv permitted to detain and arrest Zakharchenko. At the moment he has the status of the suspect in the criminal proceeding under the part I, article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
