Ukrainian military units in the ATO zone are ready for worsening of weather conditions. This was stated by the first deputy commander of the land forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Lokota, according to the Defense Ministry's press service.
According to him, the units that carry out tasks in the area of anti-terrorist operations, are provided with fuel, and personnel is ready for deterioration of weather conditions.
"Soldiers who perform combat missions in Donbas are provided with fuel, wood and coal. Heating means are also available in sufficient amount," deputy commander reported.
He added that preparations for the winter season in the ATO area were planned and carried out well in advance.
"For those who are in the trenches, the winter is always a difficult challenge, but we were prepared in advance, so now any problems that arise are resolved promptly," the deputy commander added.
