Armed Forces of Ukraine will not stop their military operations in the Black Sea after the shooting of the cargo plane from the drill rigs seized by Russia. This was reported by the Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, reports Ukrainian News.

“They will continue to perform tasks they were performing. The provocations from the Russia’s side will always happen and they will continue happening,” he noted.

In case of combat aircraft shooting, Ukraine has the right to open fire in response, he said.

“It was not a combat, but a cargo plane. If a fire was opened on the combat plane, we would of course fire back. If someone shoots at the plane on our territory, the pilot has the right and the obligation to shoot in response,” the Minister noted.

The flight of Ukrainian military plane was conducted within the borders of Ukraine, Poltorak said.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian vessel Pochaev was bombarded from Russian drilling platform in Black Sea. Earlier, one of the representatives of the power structures of the Russian Federation leadership declared that the diving vessel Pochaev allegedly conducted shelling of the drilling platforms Chornomornaftohaz.
