Ukraine needs economic, political, moral support, and the Euro-Atlantic cohesion in general. Also the confirmation of use of heavy weapons by militants would help international politicians not to hesitate in these issues. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius in his commentary to 112 Ukraine on Saturday 11 February.
"Ukraine today needs a multifaceted help. Not only economic, political, moral, and not only European aid, the Euro-Atlantic cohesion is very much needed. This is the crucial period to preserve what is created and to continue what we have planned. And it's not so easy, but we must do everything possible for this, " said Linkevičius.
He noted that he was surprised with the resistance of people living on the demarcation line.
"What surprised me from the good side - that is,their optimism. Once there is no panic and people make all that is necessary to survive, of course, is necessary to help them, including to collect more fresh facts for the firm position of our policy, " said the Minister.
He added that he again noticed the use of prohibited weapons against Ukrainians.
