The fraction Petro Poroshenko Block admitted the possibility of the introduction of martial law, if the exacerbation in the Donbas region continues. This opinion was expressed by People's Deputy Iryna Lutsenko after a meeting of the conciliatory council on February 6.

"If such aggravation lasts a long time and threatens the environmental security, human security, if we see that Putin seriously attacks on all fronts, we will allow the introduction of martial law. It was a local situation, which we managed to maintain. We have seen, and Putin also saw that Ukraine is ready to resist aggression. This was not like the conflict in Debaltsevo or Ilovaiske. Everything was ready for evacuation, military units organized and ready to operate. Ukraine is ready. All will depend on the situation, but introduction of the martial law is possible", Iryna Lutsenko said.
