“Two Ukrainian servicemen were captured by pro-Russia mercenaries near Donetsk”, Lysenko said at the briefing in Kyiv. He added that the government troops suffered no fatalities over the last 24 hours. Two Ukrainian fighters were wounded near Avdiivka.

Meanwhile, Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Viktor Muzhenko met U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt. Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported this on Wednesday. The sides discussed the course of reforms in the Ukrainian army, the latest developments in Donbas, the outcome of the session of Ukraine-NATO military committee, etc. “Our principal position is full ceasefire with constant monitoring of the situation by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission”, Muzhenko said.
