Since midnight, the militants in the Donbas conflict zone broke the cease-fire 13 times, as the Ukrainian Army HQ reported.

“During the day the Russian-backed separatists somewhat lowered the number of attacks. After the yesterday’s attacks with heavy weapons, the militants mostly switched to grenade launchers and small arms,” the HQ said.

In Donetsk sector, Ukrainian strongholds near Butovka mine and Avdiivka were attacked. Civilian houses in Zaitseve again were caught in the fire from ICV weaponry and grenade launchers.

“So far the enemy used mortars only once. At around 5 am the bandits fired nine 120 and 82-mm mines near Troitske, in Luhansk sector,” the HQ noted.

The smallest amount of attacks happened in Mariupol sector. Here the militants attacked Ukrainian Army positions in Bohdanovka and Maryinka.

As it was reported earlier, in the previous 24 hours, 47 attacks were reported in total; five Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.
