The French senators Herve Maurey, Jean-Yves Leconte and Jacques Legendre will come to Donbas to become acquainted with the humanitarian situation and to esteem the security level of the region. The representative of Ukraine the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk Iryna Gerashchenko reported this at Facebook.

'The colleagues are mostly interested in the issue of the prisoners' release and promised that France will raise this issue within the Normandy Format as the prioritized. We exchanged the opinions on the initiative of the deployment of the UN mission at the whole territory of the occupied Donbas till the Ukrainian-Russian border', she wrote.

Gerashchenko noted that the French senators are also interested in the progress of the decentralization, medical, education and pension reforms in Ukraine.

'The French senators condemned the willful and provocative actions of the politicians who visited the illegally occupied Crimea and noted that it was their private visits and they were not supported by the French Government', the message said.

The formed parliamentarians of the Government of France visited Crimea occupied by Russia.

Earlier, the parliamentarians of Hungary visited the Donbas conflict zone and line of the front.
