The mandate of the OSCE observers in Donbas is extended until October 31, 2016, TASS reports. The decision was made on Thursday at the Council’s session in Vienna. The observers will be stationed at Donetsk and Gukovo checkpoints, on the Russian side of the state border.

The initial decision to send the OSCE observers to Donbas was made in July 2014. The mission’s mandate has been extended every three months.
