More and more EU member countries continue to criticize the politics of the Union’s leaders in Brussels. It gets harder and harder to keep the peace on the continent. Frank-Walther Steinmeier, the German foreign minister, said this as quoted by Suddeutsche Zeitung.
‘The financial crisis, the waves of migrants going to Europe and the shock from Brexit referendum threw Europe into the turmoil of powerful turbulence’, he said. ‘Even Europe’s most loyal supporters see now that we’ve got to re-assure people. If we don’t value the EU, it will fall. We need criticism, because we need to know what’s good and what’s bad in Europe.’
