Since the beginning of the year, as a result of hostilities, 47 civilians have died in Donbas, 222 others have been injured. This is reported by the OSCE SMM on its Twitter page.
"In 2017, the conflict in Ukraine took 47 lives, 222 people were injured, the majority of cases were caused by shelling in populated areas," it was reported.
We recall that according to the latest OSCE data, as of June 14, the number of dead civilians was 45 people. A day earlier, another UN report was announced, in which it was said that from February 16 to May 15, 2017 - 36 people were killed because of fighting, 157 others were injured.
Later, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the number of losses of the Armed Forces since the beginning of the conflict in Donbas. According to the latest information, during ATO in Donbas, 2,696 military personnel were killed and 9,903 were wounded. Only in the last 24 hours one Ukrainian military was killed, three more were wounded.
