Illegal representatives of separate regions in Donbas refused at the last minute under false pretexts

Militants refused to begin verification process of hostages lists on April 18. The procedure was earlier agreed on during negotiations in Minsk. This was reported on Facebook by Iryna Gerashchenko, the Ukrainian representative in Humanitarian subgroup of Trilateral Contact Group.

"Verification procedure has not started, illegal representatives of separate regions in Donbas refused at the last minute under fake excuses and want to return to the discussion, which has been talked over 100 times, at the regular Minsk meeting," Gerashchenko wrote.

She informed that the representatives of OSCE, Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and Ombudsman office of Valeriya Lutkovska, arrived in Mariupol in Donetsk region to begin questioning of hundreds of people in penitentiaries according to reached Minsk agreement.

As it was reported, the number of Ukrainian prisoners rose to 126 people due to civilians.
