SBU finds Russian Shmel flamethrower in Svitlodarsk bulge area

The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine found man-portable flamethrower Shmel in place of the clash with terrorists in Svitlodarsk bulge area.  This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

Weapon produced by Russia was loaded and ready for use. Shmel has a marking 12-91-А, 737, that can mean it belongs to Russian soldiers’ armament.

Special forces officers together with soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine found arms cache in the forest near Syze village of Luhansk region. Law enforcers seized projectiles to reactive anti-tank grenades, mortar mine of 120 mm caliber and 48 WOG-17M projectiles for grenade launchers.

Relevant proceedings are being conducted due to this fact.

Earlier it was reported that SBU seized Russian weapon abandoned by militants in Donbas. Shmel, the Russian-made flamethrower, was found at firing positions near Zaitsevo, Donetsk region, according Security Service.
