SBU detained "DPR" sniper in ATO zone

The woman was detained when she was trying to enter Ukrainian territory to re-issue the documents

The officers of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a sniper of "Donetsk People’s Republic" in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone. This was reported by SBU press service.

"Law enforcement officers have detained a woman at demarcation line when she was trying to enter the territory, controlled by Ukrainian authorities, in order to re-issue the documents. The employees of the service have found out that she was a sniper in rapid mobility unit and radio telegraphist of "DPR Internal Ministry" forces," the message says.

According to the detained woman, she passed 4 months special training on Russian territory in Rostov oblast. The instructors of the camp had earlier served in the special action forces of the Russian Federation.

Criminal proceeding was opened according to Article 258-3 (forming a terrorist group or organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Urgent operational and investigative actions continue.
