Russia to send another four “humanitarian convoys" to Donbas

Russia’s Emergency Ministry intends to send another four of the so-called “humanitarian convoys”. Vladimir Artamonov, the official secretary of the ministry, reported that, according to Interfax

The dispatch is scheduled for February – March.

“Two next columns are already ready, they will be sent to  Donbas on February 21 and 28 – this is mainly baby foods and medicine. The other dispatches are scheduled for March 16 and 23. We have plans for the whole year,” he said.

According to Artamonov, the Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Response has already sent 59 humanitarian convoys with the total weight of 70 000 tons.

The last 59th so-called “humanitarian convoy” arrived to Donbas from the Russian Federation on December 22.
