Russia sets conditions for it to stop accepting “DNR, LNR” passports

Among them is the demand to stop ATO and to establish special status of Donbas

Russia can cancel its decision to admit “documents” of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR”. This was announced by the Permanent Representative of Russian Federation to OSCE Aleksandr Lukashevich, reports Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The decision to admit documents issued to Ukrainian citizens in the separate areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions can be changed after full implementation of Minsk agreements by Kyiv,” Lukashevich said during the session of OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.

At the same time, talking about full implementation of Minsk agreements, Lukashevich meant cancellation of ATO in Donbas and military disengagement, military disengagement with establishing of special status of Donbas, recognition of local elections and realization of paragraph 8 (Complex of measures) on full restoration of social and economic ties.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine wants Russia to invalidate "LPR/DPR" passports, militants to return Ukrainian business. The issues have been raised in subgroups and during Trilateral Contact Group meeting.
