Ukrainian combat medics are ready for solving the most complicated tasks on and beyond the battlefield. Petro Poroshenko, the president of Ukraine said this in his speech, congratulating the Ukrainian doctors on their professional holiday.

‘Our combat medics are ready to cope with the toughest tasks, and that became possible because they have been relying on the huge experience and potential of the Ukrainian medicine. They are ready for the worst possible scenario so that they can save lives of Ukrainian warriors,’ he said.

The Doctor’s Day is annually celebrated in Ukraine on the third Sunday in June; this year, it’s June 18.

Earlier, on June 14, when Poroshenko met with combat medics in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, he said that Ukraine’s combat medicine should be fully adapted to the NATO standards.
