Many Ukrainian cities will be left without heating because of the trade embargo on the Donbas region. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the solemn meeting devoted to the Day of honoring the combatants in other states, which was broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
"As a result of their actions the government yesterday compelled to introduce emergency measures in the energy sector due to the blocking of thermal coal deliveries. There is a threat that Sumy, Kramatorsk, the left bank of Kyiv and many other cities can remain without heating", Poroshenko said.
According to him, in Ukraine about 300 thousand people could lose their jobs, and even tens of thousands in the occupied territories.
