The White Eagles knock out Mykailo Fomenko's men upon reaching the knockout stage of Euro 2016. Adam Nawalka's squad made it to playoffs as runners-up in Group C. Meanhwile, Germany outplayed the Northern Ireland, leaving the Green Whites at third place in the group. As for Ukraine, their time at this European championship is over. The team has once again lost a goal from the set-piece - that's precisely what happened in the previous games against Germany and Northern Ireland. Not only the team allowed goals in the similar situations, but it also failed to score at least one goal.
Such a pity, and such a shame, many fans would say. Now it's up to Ukraine's new manager, whose name we'll learn later. Whoever it is, he'll have tons of work ahead of him, as his predecessor Mykhailo Fomenko apparently left the team in disarray at this football festival.
Still, a good experience for the national team. And, of course, there are millions of fans who truly love and support their team, no matter what. So, thanks for the effort, Ukraine!
