More than 208,500 soldiers got the ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation) participant status since the Donbas conflict start. This was reported by the Defense Ministry Speaker Dmytro Hutsulyak, reports Ukrainian News agency.

“Over 208,500 Ukrainian soldiers and Armed Forces personnel received ATO participant status since the Donbas conflict start,” since the Donbas conflict start said.

13,500 Armed Forces servicemen received state awards since the beginning of the conflict, Hutsulyak added.

As it was reported earlier Ukrainian army employs 250,000 active servicemen, according to Defense Minister. Another 130,000 make the operative reserve of the Armed Forces.
