OSCE calls sides of conflict to stop advancing in Avdiivka

Security organization also called to ensure safe and unobstructed access for repair crews

The Special Monitoring Mission of OSCE called the sides of the conflict to stop advancing in Avdiivka region. This was reported by the head of the SMM OSCE in Ukraine Alexander Hug during the briefing.

He called to stop military operations in Avdiivka, to withdraw tanks, mortars, artillery and MLRS in the area.

“We ask to stop forces advancement and keep distance between positions, to ensure safe and unobstructed access for repair crews with equipment. And to stop obstructing the work of SMM,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that OSCE reports that new humanitarian and ecological disaster threatens Avdiivka. Hug said that now the probability of humanitarian and environmental disaster significantly increased.
