No human casualties in ATO area during the last 24 hours, as reported by ATO press center spokesperson Olksandr Motuzianuk. The Russian-backed militants also did not use the heavy weapons, mortars, tanks and armored vehicles, he stated at a briefing. In Luhansk region, the only hotspot here was Krymske. As for Donetsk region, Sanzharivka, Lozove, Mariinka, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, faced several armed provocations of the militants.

Meanwhile, the talks between the members of Trilateral Contact Group during their online meeting confirmed that both sides fully respect the ceasefire. In particular, this fact was witnessed by OSCE Special Monitoring Mission Oleksandr Hug, and experts from the Joint Center for control and coordination. “In order to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire on the eve of meeting of the Trilateral contact group, which is to be held in Minsk, September 8, and where an agreement to withdraw the weapons with 100 mm caliber should be signed, the next videoconference with representatives of individual regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions to be held on Friday, September 4,” stated Dariia Olifer, the spokesperson of Ukrainian ex-president Leonid Kuchma, who officially represents Ukrainian side in Minsk.

The militants announced their plans to stop shelling ATO positions from September 1. On it informs "Interfax-Ukraine" referring to the spokesman of the General Staff Vladyslav Selezniov.
