TCG reached the new agreement on withdrawal of heavy weapons today

Another meeting of Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on settlement of Donbas conflict will be held on March 1. This was reported by Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the OSCE, during briefing, broadcast by "112 Ukraine" TV channel.

"Our next meeting is scheduled for March 1," he noted.

It is noteworthy that the members of Trilateral Contact Group on settlement in Donbas have reached the new agreement on withdrawal of heavy weapons before February 20 today.

Earlier, Daria Olifer, the press secretary for Leonid Kuchma, who is a Ukrainian representative in the contact group, reported after the meeting that humanitarian subgroup decided to address UN Monitoring Mission for Human Rights in Geneva with the request to verify, whether those citizens would like to stay at the territory, where they were detained throughout, after their release.

As it is known according to the most recent data, militants demand to release 700 convicted people in exchange for 50 prisoners on their side.
