Houses of civilian residents of Mariinka are on fire in the result of shelling. Vyacheslav Abroskin, the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk region reported that on his Facebook page.
"Terrorist shell the city. Some houses are already on fire. Information on casualties is on hold,” he reports.
Vyacheslav Abroskin also noted that two schools are closed now due to shelling.
As it was reported earlier, there were 67 attacks in total over the past 24 hours. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, ten were injured and four – traumatized.
Earlier it was reported that there is no light, no water, no heating in Avdiivka. The residents of the city need warm clothes and boots, other things like that. They might also need thermal underwear, warm blankets. This is what Avdiivka residents really need now, because we currently have -17 °C degrees. There is a considerable tension in the city, because shelling can start at any moment.
