Donbas: Mariupol sector remains hottest area

37 attacks on Ukrainian positions have taken place since Tuesday morning

Russia-backed militants have been ignoring Minsk agreement and the ceasefire regime; the extensive use of artillery and mortars was reported over the last 24 hours in Donbas.

Most of the attacks took place in the Mariupol sector. The village of Pyshchevyk went under fire from 122 mm artillery. In Mykhailivka, Ukrainian positions were shelled from mortars. In Pavlopol and Krasnohorivka, the mercenaries fired heavy machineguns, grenade launchers and small arms. Positions near Lebedynske and Vodyane went under 120 mm mortar fire. Enemy IFVs and mortars opened fire in Shyrokyne.

Slavne, Avdiivka and Luhanske (Donetsk sector) went under fire from mortars, RPGs, heavy machineguns and small arms.

152 mm artillery and RPGs were used during enemy attacks in Luhansk region – in Krymske, Stanytsia Luhanska and Lopaskyne.
