Russia-backed militants continue to violate Minsk agreement

Situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense. Most of shelling on positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces using heavy weapons were recorded in Mariupol direction. Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed, 8 more wounded. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

Thus, military confrontation with the enemy occurred at 9:30 a.m. near Vodiane, Russia-backed occupants used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher shortly and fired 152 and 122 artillery. Strongholds nearby were attacked from 122 mm artillery. Enemy also fired mortars and IFVs near Shyrokyne.

In Donetsk direction, Russia-backed occupants attacked positions near Avdiivka with heavy machine guns and a tank. Butivka mine suffered from 120 mm mortar fire, automatic grenade launchers were also fired near Luhanske.

In Luhansk direction, enemy fired 82 and 120 mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and machine guns at positions near Troitske. Anti-tank grenade launchers were used near Novozvanivka and Krymske, anti-tank guided missile launcher was fired in Tryokhizbenka area.
