Donbas conflict: Militants fired 20 times over past day

Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered no losses

Operative situation in ATO zone did not change drastically. Situation along delimitation line remains tense, however fully controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russia-backed armed groups violated ceasefire regime 20 times. They repeatedly used artillery weapons, banned by Minsk agreement, and also fired on one of the frontline settlements. There were no losses among Ukrainian forces today. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

In Mariupol direction, Russia-backed militants fired multiple-launch rocket systems at residential areas of Marinka. Several houses were damaged in the attack. The walls were hit with shrapnel, roofs and farm buildings ruined, windows broken. Fortunately, no civilians were hurt.

Militants also fired 120 mm mortars near Pavlopil. 82 mm mortars were used near Krasnohorivka. Beyond that, illegal armed groups continue armed provocations against Ukrainian soldiers in Shyrokyne, Vodiane, Lebedynske, Talakivka and Chermalyk. Enemy used grenade launchers of various modifications, heavy machine guns and small arms there.

In Donetsk direction, Russia-backed invaders shelled Ukrainian positions near Pivdenne from 122 artillery. They also carried out intensive attacks on ATO strongholds near Kamianka using tanks and 120 mm mortars. Positions near Novoluhanske suffered fire from 82 mm mortars and heavy machine guns. Beyond that, militants fired grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers at Verkhnyotoretske, Kamianka and Avdiivka.

In Luhansk direction, occupants attacked ATO positions near Novozvanivka using small arms. Bandits also fired rocket-propelled grenades near Malynove. 82 mm mortars were fired on one of Ukrainian strongholds near Katerynivka.
