Toretsk City Court sentenced a citizen of the Russian Federation, the former employee of the Russian law enforcement agencies to 11 years in prison with confiscation of property for the conduct of a war of aggression against Ukraine. It is reported by the press service of the GPU.

According to the report, the investigation proved that the person was involved in a terrorist organization DPR as part of one of the illegal armed units who commit acts of armed resistance against Ukrainian military from January 2015 to September 2016.

The perpetrator was caught by Ukrainian military near Toretsk, Donetsk region in September 2016.
