Border guards detain a man involved in Donbas militia

The detained had a Russian passport and a video of Ukrainian servicemen being executed

A man involved in Donbas militia was detained by Kharkiv border detachment guards tonight at Hoptivka border checkpoint, according to press office of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

To pass border control the 59-year-old man showed a Ukrainian passport, but in his bag a Russian passport, photos of militants were found.

Furthermore, among his belongings was a laptop containing a video of Ukrainian servicemen being executed, and photos depicting desecration of Ukrainian National Symbols.

The border guards forwarded this information to the SBU, along with the man.

The inquiry to add this information into the United registry for detecting signs of criminal offense, envisaged in Part 3 of Article 258 of Ukraine's Criminal Code (Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization) and Article 338 (Outrage against state symbols) is directed to the SBU and National Police of Ukraine. Now the man is being screened.
