Bellingcat discovered dozens of militants’ heavy military assets near Luhansk

Bellingcat International investigative group analyzed the message of @GirkinGirkin on Twitter, showing armored vehicles including tanks. The user claims that photos were uploaded on March 16, 2017 near Buhaivka in Luhansk region, that is territory occupied by "LPR" militants.

The published report of Bellingcat from March 17 checked this data.

Based on the analysis of satellite pictures from Digital Globe made on Wednesday, March 15, Bellingcat confirms that Russia-backed separatist forces are currently holding dozens of heavy military equipment near Buhaivka.

The mentioned settlement is located about 40 km away from Luhansk, the nearest Ukrainian positions are approximately 35 away. 

It is noted that Buhaivka and its surroundings are situated within the delimitation line agreed in Minsk, tank presence in this territory violates the arrangements.
