Employees of the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, found a satchel and some ammunition that belonged to an airborne trooper of the regular Russian army who came to fight in Donbas. The SBU’s press service reported that on Friday, January 13.

‘While checking information about the location of a saboteur group of pro-Russian militants in Slavne, Maryinka area, Donetsk region, law enforcers discovered a part of the burnt-down backpack with specific service marking. The satchel is an element of fighting gear of regular Russian troops; the manufacturer’s marking and the color scale point out that it belonged to a Russian army serviceman,’  the press service said.

The SBU agents also found a cartridge box with 7.62 mm shells inside (totally 200 pieces), two hand grenades – F-1 and RGD-5, a MON-50 landmine and a first aid kit.
