Militants shelled Zhovte, Marinka, Shyrokyne and Novotroitske despite the established ceasefire regime. This was reported by ATO HQ press-center.

"Already after 25 minutes after midnight militants started provocative fire from small arms on Ukrainian positions in Zhovte area, which is in Luhansk direction. Same weapons were used to fire from 6:54 to 7:10 a.m., and later, from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. on Marinka. Shyrokyne was attacked from 9:54 to 10:10 a.m. Ukrainian military did not respond to provocations. In the period of 10:25-10:35 - Novotroitske was attacked from small arms," the message says.

It is noteworthy that ceasefire regime came into force from midnight December 24, which was previously agreed on by Minsk group.

Earlier it was reported that militants attacked Ukrainian positions 50 times over the past 24 hours, using BM-21 Grad rockets this time.
