The Ministry of Defense has awarded fighters from the conflict zone in Donbas commemorative tokens, which depict a Russian tank T-90 'Vladimir' and the stature with the Russian special sniper rifle 'Vintorez', -  said Roman Sinitsyn, the Head of the Volunteer Association "Narodnyi Tyl" on his Facebook page.

Neither the T-90 tank nor rifle "Vintorez" were in the inventory of the Ukrainian Army.

"Soldiers from the ATO zone asked to tell the honored Deputy Minister that they appreciated the joke with the token and post a photo to laugh," - wrote Sinitsyn.

Volunteer also added that the medals were bestowed by Deputy Minister of Defense Yurii Gusev.
